A few days after postcards the Cuban cover arrived, yay :)) I didnt find a great range of stamps but this lizard is good enough for me - a type of Sphaerodactylus (gecko) from the Caribbean. Its from a set of 6 issued in 1994, and oh wouldnt I like to have the whole lizard set! Took a bit longer than two months to arrive.
I love seeing geckos when in those places that have them. I have a Cuban stamp promoting tourism that puts one like yours in the middle of a scene, cute.
ReplyDeleteA nice simple design. I wonder what makes mail so slow in some places.
ReplyDeleteLovely stamps, and from a rare country. A good year so far for you!
ReplyDeleteThank you for participating!
Those are very nice stamps, not such a common theme. I wonder where mail goes when it takes 2 months en route.
ReplyDeletea very uncommon stamps! you're lucky!

ReplyDeleteI'm jealous, I've never got a letter from Cuba! Thanks for sharing these; beautiful to see, as usual in your blog.
