Such a wonderful special cover awaited me at the start of the new year, if its a sign what this year should (postally) be then I am a lucky bee :) In 1961 the population of this far-away territory were evacuated to England after the eruption of Queen Mary's Peak volcano - in 2011 four stamps were issued to commemorate the 50th anniversary of this event.
