Europa stamps are special stamps issued by European postal administrations (continuously since 1956) and bear the special EUROPA logo. Each year a different theme is chosen, which builds awareness of the common roots, culture and history, as well as promotes the common goals.
This is my 1st Europa cover for this year - ossuusso was kind to send covers from her short trip to Latvia in March. The theme for this year's Europa issue is 'Visit...' so we can see the main sights of the individual countries on the stamps ( it must be difficult to choose only a few..!)
Latvians suggest you to visit the National Opera in Riga :)
